ChatBazaar Free Online Chat & Dating Site

Chatbazaar Chatbazaar is a relatively popular free chatting and dating site. The site seems to have a focus on USA and UK residents, which also seems to be backed up by its Alexa research data as far as I can tell. To use the dating portion of the site you are required to register and create a profile, as would be expected. As for the chatting portion of the site, you are not required to register to use it, and it utilizes Adobe Flash software and has multiple rooms to choose from. These rooms include General, I Am Bored, Age 18-25, Age 26-35, Age 36-45, and Age 46+. Breaking the rooms down by age is definitely a plus, and I think that is one of ChatBazaar’s stronger features.

In terms of random chatting, the site does not seem to include your typical Chatroulette version of chatting. However, the chat rooms it does have all seem to have quite a few people in them, so that’s a plus. I should also add, that although you are not required to register to use the chatting functionality, if you do register extra features are unlocked for you to use, so if you like what you see you will probably want to register right away. Another thing I should mention is that they also have a mobile chat system, so that’s definitely a nice little addition to everything else they have going on. Anyway, you can check them out at www.chatbazaar.com.

Hehechat Group Chat Rooms Online

Hehechat Group Chat Rooms Online Hehechat is a free provider of online chat rooms that utilize Adobe Flash. The site seems to be pretty popular and active, and there are two main rooms that people seem to congregate in. First, there is the general chat room, and then there is the adult chat room. Based on my experience, it would seem both have roughly the same number of users at any given time. However, it would seem that neither of these main rooms have the functionality for running live video feeds, and the one other room they have dedicated to video chatting has essentially nobody in it, which was a bit disappointing. Hopefully they will upgrade the software of their main rooms to include video sometime in the near future. On a related note, as you would have probably guessed, there is no roulette chatting functionality.

According to Alexa they have a pretty solid number of daily visitors coming through, with USA being their main location. It also looks like they are trending upwards, which is always a good sign with a chat site. After all, trending in the opposite direction can kill a chat site pretty quick, at least based in my experience. The site layout is pretty plain, and kind of old school, but I suppose it still gets the job done. The software is just embedded there in the middle of the page, and that’s all that really matters in the end. Anyway, check them out if you want at www.hehechat.com.

Wireclub Free Online Chat Rooms

Wiredclub is a popular chatting site with a variety of group chat rooms and games to choose from, but no Chatroulette-type service. Room and game topics include private chat lobby, dating, bingo, philosophy, music, blackjack, religion, slots, and atheism. Thus, there are a whole lot of ways to entertain yourself on the site! However, one downside for those of you who like remaining anonymous is you have to register before you can chat or play any games. The benefits of this include the ability to view people’s profiles and learn more about them right away, the ability to search for people, and the ability to add anyone as a friend so you can more easily save new contacts. Of course, registering and using the site is completely free.

Based on the Alexa data for this site, it seems to be pretty popular. To verify this I went in to the chat rooms, and they all seem to be pretty active, so that’s a good sign. It also looks like they get a lot of traffic from USA, Australia, and Canada – there are also plenty of other countries, but those seem to be the big ones. If you look at the design of user profiles, it’s not too bad, but not that great either – I guess it’s good enough to get the job done, which is what counts. Also, one more cool feature I noticed is you have the ability to create and join clubs, so that could be fun – I remember back in the day when Facebook clubs were considered ultra cool, so this could bring back some of that spunk. Anyway, if you like what you hear check them out at www.wireclub.com.

Chat Avenue Group Video & Text Chat Rooms

Chat Avenue was originally established clear back in 1999, and it still maintains a sort of vintage old school design theme – definitely hasn’t been Web 2.0-ified. However, this doesn’t detract from Chat Avenue’s large user base and quality chat software. You see, despite the old school look, they still have some of the newest flash-based group cam chat software, and plenty of people online to mingle with. One of the great things about their site also is how they have so many different Chatting categories. These categories include college, adult, singles, dating, general, teen, kids, gay, girls, live, video games, sports, music, lesbian, video, and boys, so there are a lot of options if you’re looking for something a little more specific than what you’ll find at most of the sites I have reviewed.

However, the one thing Chat Avenue lacks is a Chatroulette-style system. I’m actually kind of surprised by this because it would be so easy for them to just add one in, and thereby expand their current offerings for the better, but who knows, maybe they have plans to add it down the road. In terms of where users are from, their website claims they are mainly from USA, Canada, Australia, and UK, and a quick look at Alexa research data seems to confirm that this is true. I should also mention that an extra feature they have that most chat sites do not is their own forum, and it looks pretty active, so if that’s something you’re looking for in a chat site this might be the one for you. Anyway, you can check out Chat Avenue at www.chat-avenue.com

Wocchat Roulette Video Chat Social Network

Wocchat Roulette Video Chat Site Wocchat (World of Chat)  is one of the older random chatting sites, which came out from what I recall after Omegle but before Chatroulette. They’re one of the few sites that also combined the random chatting features with those of a social network, similar to iMeetzu. This combination seemed to help them gain in popularity, well, at least back in the day. Since their peak they’ve definitely died down a bit, but they still remain decently popular as far as I can tell. A quick look at their Alexa traffic ranking and other included information allows me to confirm my assumptions.

Alexa shows Wocchat as still holding a decent ranking, but the trend definitely isn’t up. Nonetheless, at this very moment they still have enough users to keep the site going, which is really what matters when it comes down to it. If you decide to give them a visit, you’ll see that the social networking features tend to dominate the menu, and the roulette system is confined to a single page. Thus, it would seem they really wanted to concentrate on building their community, but people just didn’t stick around as much as they hoped. Anyway, I’m sure you’ve heard enough by now to decide if you want to check them out – you will find them at www.wocchat.com.

Lollichat Random Webcam Chat Room

Lollichat is basically an exact copy of the original Chatroulette, only with a new attention grabbing name. I mean, once you hear “Lollichat” you’re curious and you want to check it out, that’s just the way it is. This is probably the reason the site became relatively popular at one point, and still maintains a decent number of users still to this day. I suppose there might be one difference, which is that you have to literally click an “agree” button saying you will not do anything disgusting or else risk being reported to Interpol. However, despite the warning with the button, after only 2 nexts I came across the usual unsettling image, so the warning doesn’t seem to be doing much to help stop the problem.

Anyway, I did a little research and according to Alexa their users online are still decent BUT they are in decline, and a pretty big decline at that. In other words, by the time you read this it’s quite possible they will no longer be any good. However, there’s not really any way for you to know for sure I suppose, maybe they will have a rebound or something, who knows. That being said, I guess I’ll just go ahead and recommend you at least try them once, I mean, maybe they’ll come up with a better way to moderate out the nasty stuff too, so yea, you can find them at www.lollichat.com.

Roulettechat.fr Chatroulette Francais Cam Chat

Roulettechat.fr Chatroulette Francais Cam Chat Roulettechat.fr, also known as Chatroulette Francais, is a random video chat site that quite obviously targets the French population. However, it is not merely a copy of Chatroulette, it also goes on to offer it’s own extra features. The main extra feature is the Multicams Chat, which seems to allow you to enter group webcam rooms and view as many other people’s live streams as you want, send private messages to as many people as you want, and also converse in the main room chat area at the same time. So, that’s a great extra system to have in place on top of the usual roulette.

At any rate, it would seem based on the Alexa info that Roulettechat.fr is actually pretty popular, and has done very well in France, as would be expected. Much like other German-focused sites I’ve already written posts about such as Chatpig, this site presents an opportunity to learn a new language if that’s something you desire, and it looks like it might be a bit more fun than flashcards. This site does also get a lot of traffic from other countries as well, but when I looked in the chat rooms it seemed as though they were always speaking in French, so take that as you will. Anyway, if this seems to be of interest to you give it a visit at www.rouelttechat.fr.

Chatpig German Roulette Video Chat

Chatpig german roulette video chat Chatpig is a random webcam chat site just like Chatroulette back before they added registration, premium memberships, and all the other features of today. However, there is one major difference, which is that Chatpig focuses on the German market. As evidenced by it’s Alexa information, this German focus worked out pretty well in the sense that they get a lot of traffic from Germany. However, they also get quite a bit of visitors from plenty of other countries. If you’re looking to learn German, this might be your spot.

Anyway, from the looks of it Chatpig does get enough traffic to make it worthwhile to use. The users online count looks to be in the hundreds, and even if they’re faking that, after a quick try it seemed to be decent so as long as they have enough people online to keep you busy that’s all that really matters anyway. The worldwide Alexa rank seems to be good enough to where they should have enough users online at any given time to keep you entertained, so for that reason I would recommend giving them a try. You can visit their site at www.chatpig.com.

Chatville Multi Person Group Video Cam2Cam

Chatville Multi Person Group Video Cam2CamChatville is a pretty new player on the chatting scene. They advertise themselves as an alternative to Chatroulette and many other popular roulette chat sites, however, they seem to fail to provide any sort of roulette feature themselves, which is a bit odd. At any rate, what they do provide is this cool software that allows you to have as many as four live video feeds open at once of different people, while at the same time being able to broadcast your own feed. Furthermore, there are different rooms you can go into to find more people.

In general the site seems pretty popular and definitely has enough people on it at any given time for it to be sufficiently entertaining. There is an option to register, which seems to open up new features and what not. In general, the software they use seems to be pretty legitimate, and requires flash or a flash plugin, as most chat sites do these days. Anyway, Chatville might be a newbie to the chat site scene but they’re still worth checking out. You can visit them at www.chatville.com.

Rounds Video Chat Social Entertainment Platform

Rounds Video Chat Social Entertainment Platform Rounds is a popular Facebook app that is a lot more than just a random roulette webcam chat room. In their own words, Rounds is a:

“social entertainment platform that offers its members the ability to webcam chat, play multi-user, real-time games together, watch videos and enjoy many different interactive online activities in a fun and playful way”

They also seem to refer to the use of their app as “video chat rounds” as though you’re sort of “making the rounds” etc which kind of ties in to roulette chatting in many respects. The major difference is all the awesome features they’ve added and of course, the fact that it’s a Facebook app, so you lose the anonymity you would get with Chatroulette. But with the loss of one thing, comes the gains of another: less worrying about running into disgusting live feeds, more of an ability to be matched with people of similar interests, etc.

One of the best parts about Rounds video chat is they have over 30 games and activities you can utilize while connected with another user for a chat session. This can make what would normally be a dull simple meeting into a much more adventurous and entertaining one, and make it much easier to break the ice. Thus, there are a lot of advantages to using Rounds instead of your typical anonymous service. At any rate, make sure you check out this app by visiting www.rounds.com.
